These are perfect for everyday meals or special occasions! While these are not entirely waterproof table covers, their spill-resistance makes them high-performance cotton covers.
They're machine washable and can be sun-dried. They can be ironed on the top surface as well. We recommend airing the dining table out every couple of weeks, to keep the trapped moisture out.
Do make sure you read the maintenance section to get the maximum out of the product & the FAQ section to read more about Haldi stains.

MAINTENANCE & CARE

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I have started using the tablecloth. Though the website mentions that the edges near the folds might get dirty with white lines because of it's texture, it's getting dirty every second day. The maintenance in this case ( wiping out the edges everyday with water) is quite an issue.
Also, though the website says machine-wash, I was later conveyed after buying it, that it shouldn't be machine-washed with any other fabric.
I do wish that at such expensive costs of the tablecloth, the products could atleast come with basic maintenance.
Hi Apurva,
We understand how frustrating it can feel when maintenance turns out to seem more tedious than expected.
We recommend machine washing the tablecloth separately because of its special treatment. Also, while some prints may need a wash once in a couple of weeks, others can go on for months without needing one. It depends so much on individual use, the kind of spills etc. Trying a mix of our prints and finishes — such as block-prints versus wovens — often helps figure out what works best for each household.
We’re positive you’ll have a very different experience with the Moonlit Ivy tablecloth which you've ordered and would love to hear your feedback once you’ve used it for a bit. Please stay in touch and let us know.
Team Yard House
Bought two tablecloths. The colours in the website are drastically different from the actual colours. A blue looks green on the website, and this one, which looks a bright mustard on the website is almost red in actual.
Care must be taken to post pictures which are more closer to the actual colour. Furnishings are always bought to suit a particular colour palette...so incorrect colours dont help.
Hi Apurva,
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback — we completely understand how important colour accuracy is, especially when it comes to furnishings that need to blend with a specific palette.
We do our best to photograph every product in natural light to keep the colours as true as possible. However, tones can sometimes appear slightly different depending on the ambient lighting, decor palette , and even the screen calibration of the device being used to view them.
That said, we truly take your point — it’s valuable feedback. We shall explore ways to make this better, by including adding a gallery of customer photos under each print, so you can see how the fabric looks in different real-home settings. You can already find many such images in our Instagram Highlights if you’d like a peek in the meantime!
We appreciate your support and for taking the time to share this — it helps us keep improving.
Warmly,
The Yard House Team
Thankyou. Looks like the product is good in all aspects like anti skid and and easy maintenance, but you must improve on the dye color as seen in the catalogue
Hi John, Thank you for your feedback. Yes, getting colours right on the catlog is always a challenge, as the ambient lighting and colour of the furniture greatly impact how the product looks. We publish a lot of pictures from actual customer homes on our instagram page ( story highlights) - so that a realistic picture is represented too. We will work on publishing these on the website too.
Because of lamination the brightness of colours get duller
Beautiful cover and does keep stains away.
