About the Collection

Sometimes it’s not a full table makeover that makes a space feel special - it’s the little details. A table runner creates a simple centre point for your dining table, bringing together your serveware, flowers, candles or everyday meals while adding colour and texture without covering the beauty of your table underneath.

From slow Sunday breakfasts to festive dinners and evenings spent hosting friends, our cotton table runners are made to move with the way you live. Each runner is reversible, giving you two complementary designs in one, so you can change the mood of your table in seconds. The wipeable finish makes everyday spills easier to manage, while the soft cotton base adds the warmth and natural feel of fabric.

  • Perfect for:
  • Everyday dining and family meals
  • Festive celebrations and special occasions
  • Hosting guests and dinner parties
  • Consoles, sideboards and dresser tops
  • Coffee tables, bar cabinets and living spaces

Designed in-house and inspired by local artistry, our reversible cotton table runners are easy to care for, machine washable and made for homes where the table is used, enjoyed and lived around.

Frequently Asked Questions

1Q. What size table runner do I need?

A runner should extend 15 - 30 cm beyond each end of your table, and sit at about one third of its width. For a 6-seater around 180 cm long, look for a runner of roughly 210–220 cm. Ours come in sizes for 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 seater tables.

2Q. Can I use a table runner with placemats?

Yes, and most people do. Lay the runner down the centre first, then set placemats on top at each seat. On a narrower table, place the mats directly on the table and let the runner hold the centre on its own. There’s no rule about overlapping - the placemats can sit over the runner or under it, depending on the look you prefer.

3Q. Will a table runner work on a round or glass table?

On a round table, a single runner across the centre works well, or two crossed at right angles for something more formal - go by what looks balanced rather than the overhang rule. On glass, the anti-slip backing matters more, since fabric slides more easily on glass than on wood.

4Q. Can I use a table runner on a centre table or coffee table?

Yes. A shorter runner suits a centre table, coffee table or console, and works as well on a sideboard or dresser top as on a dining table.

5Q. What material are your table runners made from?

100% cotton, with a wipeable finish on both sides. Available in hand block printed, screen printed and woven designs - softer and more breathable than plastic or synthetic runners, and made to be used rather than saved for occasions.

6Q. Are your table runners reversible?

Every runner is reversible, so you get two complementary designs in one and can change the mood of your table without changing anything else.
