Q: What is a bedcover? Is it the same as a coverlet?
A: A bedcover is a decorative top layer over the bedsheet. A coverlet is a lighter, more tailored version. Brands often use the two terms interchangeably.

Q:Why do I need a bedcover?
A: It keeps the bed looking finished and protects your bedsheet from dust, which helps if you have allergies. It also adds colour and pattern, and gives a light extra layer on cooler nights.

Q: Is a bedcover the same as a blanket, quilt or dohar?
A: No. A bedcover is mainly decorative and protective. A dohar is made to be slept under for light warmth, and a quilt or blanket gives more substantial warmth.

Q: Should a bedcover cover the pillows?
A: Either works. Covering the whole bed keeps the pillows dust-free. Styling it from the foot or middle of the bed leaves the pillows visible.
