About Mahjong Maharanis

Co-founded by Sonali Maniar, a graphic designer by profession and a passionate Mahjong enthusiast, Mahjong Maharanis was born out of her love for the game.

The brand offers a curated collection of beautifully crafted Mahjong essentials, including mats and racks, alongside thoughtful gifts for fellow enthusiasts - exquisite jewellery, quirky coffee mugs, coasters and tote bags.

Every design is brought to life by Indian artisans, with whom they work directly, ensuring care and craftsmanship go into every detail.

Q1. What are the Mahjong mats and tablecloths made of?
A. Both are made from 100% cotton. The mats have a wipeable, spill-resistant finish, while the tablecloths are wipeable, anti-slip and spill-resistant.

Q2. What are the dimensions?
A. The Mahjong mat measures 31.5" × 31.5", while the tablecloth measures 50" × 50".

Q3. Are the Mahjong mats reversible?
A. Yes! Each mat features two different wipeable designs, giving you two looks in one.

Q4. Are they suitable for all Mahjong sets and table surfaces?
A. Yes. The mat fits all standard Mahjong sets, and both products can be used on glass, wood, marble and most dining table surfaces.

Q5. How do I clean and maintain them?
A. Both can be machine washed on a cold or warm setting. For everyday spills, simply wipe the surface clean. Iron the mat after drying if needed.

Q6. Are the Mahjong mats easy to store and carry?
A. Yes! Each mat is lightweight, weighs approximately 300 grams and comes with a cotton storage bag. We recommend rolling it for easy storage and travel.
